My name is Neil Wilson.  I watch a lot of movies.  More than most people that I know.

Writing about the movies that I've seen is more a hobby than anything else.  I'm not a professional critic in any way.  I don't get paid for my thoughts on movies (not that anyone is offering to do so), and I generally pay full price when I go to see a movie in the theater.  The amount of money I spend each year to watch movies is easily in the thousands of dollars.

This site is intended to hold information about first-run movies that I've seen in the theater.  I don't intend to review movies that I've seen in some other form (e.g., on DVD, Netflix, Amazon Video On Demand, television, etc.), nor do I intend to review movies I see in the theater that aren't new releases.

In my day job, I'm a computer programmer.  More specifically, I'm co-founder and Principal Engineer for UnboundID Corp., where I help create identity management software, including the UnboundID Directory Server, Directory Proxy Server, Synchronization Server, and LDAP SDK for Java.

I also enjoy reading (actual books, ebooks, and audiobooks), learning about technology, and watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball.

I'm @dirmgr on Twitter, and you can find my professional (not movie-related) blog at http://www.dirmgr.com/.
